An Experiential Heritage Hotel in Jodhpur

Jodhpur, the city of rich culture and heritage, steeped in the old warm charm, now has a new heritage address - Treehouse Rajbagh, A Boutique Hotel. Located around 13 Kms from the famous Mehrangarh fort and the airport, the hotel is well located off the NH 125 connecting Barmer to Jodhpur on a six lane road.
Built in red sandstone, the hotel was earlier residence to a family in Jodhpur and so houses the warmth of a boutique hotel where each room has a personality of its own and is done with art and artefacts which have been collected by the family over the years.
The small glass lobby welcomes the guests into a small Lobby or Atrium which used to be the living Area of the family. As you pass through you will notice various lamp which have been made from material which were used in the villages in the past. A Milk Churner which has been covered or a leg of a large Charpoy (Bed) which has now been converted into a lamp.
No visit to Jodhpur is ever complete without a little Rajput valour and one of the walls speaks about the history of swords and different types of them. The sit out also has a small family temple where the family used to sit and pray and now for every wedding that happens in the hotel, the couple seek their blessings at the temple.
